Police have confirmed the death of a man in a two-vehicle crash on the Princes Highway north of Batemans Bay.

Southbound traffic continued to be affected at 4.36pm on Saturday, August 8.
"About 8.40am emergency services were called to the Princes Highway near Shannons Road, Benandarah, about 10km north of Batemans Bay, after reports of a truck and car crash," police said.
"The driver of the car died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
"The male driver of the truck and female passenger were taken to Batemans Bay Hospital for treatment and mandatory testing, before being transferred to Canberra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
"Officers from South Coast Police District established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
"Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue and anyone with information or who may have dashcam footage are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
