The first walk, led by Jan Thomas with 14 walkers, roamed in and around Punkally Creek, Shingle Hut Road, up the Never Never Track and then down into Dromedary Creek and back to the cars.
Plenty of water was flowing down the creeks, among the cabbage tree palms, sassafras trees, and tree ferns. The 5 km walk finished at the junction of Dromedary and Punkally Creeks. Davey thanked Jan for putting on the short 5km walk that took all morning, in a very beautiful area.
Meanwhile, at the same time Maggie led five walkers from Surf Beach Narooma, towards Glass House Rocks and returned via the Industrial area and through bush to have lunch at Surf Beach. A lovely 8km walk in a delightful area was had by all.
Lastly on Saturday Amanda led another walk in the Tarouga Creek area along the Potato Point Road. Eight walkers attended heading into the creek area through and around large granite boulders and with wild flowers blooming in the recently burn't ground.
One huge rock was used for lunch until the mozzies moved the walkers on. A 6km walk was enjoyed by everybody with Maggie thanking Amanda and Jan for putting the walk on.
