Monty's Place
Merry Christmas from Monty's Place, Narooma, and best wishes for a much better New Year. Thanks to our fabulous guests and volunteers for sticking with us during this difficult year, and a huge thank you to our wonderful supporters. Monty's Place takeaway will have a yummy takeaway Christmas lunch of cold turkey, ham and pork, with salad, along with cake and fruit, on Wednesday, December 23 from 12pm-1.30pm at the Uniting Church Hall beside the water tower. We're still takeaway. If all goes well with COVID, we are working towards transitioning back to a restaurant service from mid-January 2021 - we can't wait!

Narooma CWA
On Friday, December 11, 13 members attended a combined Christmas lunch/meeting to round out 2020. Donations were gathered to support Monty's Place where $170 will be given to support their tireless work. During the meeting, it was announced that CWA of NSW more than $700,000 to distribute to drought-affected people. As Ecuador is the current country of study, international officer Jo King told of Christmas traditions from there. Members were glad they had already eaten when told some Ecuadorians' Christmas dinner included guinea pig. The CWA thanks David Creed for keeping the rooms and lawn neat.
Narooma Kianga Dalmeny Garden Club
No doubt our members have been missing the monthly club meetings and the outings which were arranged before the coronavirus restrictions. During this time our President Kaye explored every possible avenue in an attempt to enable us to meet, but due to our large membership, this was not possible. The committee will meet again in January - hopefully with good news the club will be able to resume as usual. An announcement will be placed in this newspaper to advise members of the outcome. President Kaye and the committee wish a very merry Christmas, and a safe and happy New Year.
