Orchid enthusiasts meet again

Friday, February 12: The first meeting for Eurobodalla Orchid Club is at the CWA hall Moruya. Set up from 1pm, plants benched by 1.30 pm and meeting at 2pm. Please note the new day and time, as the meetings have now changed to daytime. New members welcome. Covid regulations must be followed.

Sunday, February 14: Dalmeny Community Market (Valentine's Day) at the Dalmeny Community Hall 33/35 Mort Ave. Starts 8am until noon. March 14: Dalmeny Community Market, a Makers Market at the Dalmeny Community Hall 33/35 Mort Ave. Starts 8am until noon. Supporting Narooma Lions. Eftpos available at all BBQs.

Moruya Historical Society

'Illuminated, The Art of Children's Book Illustration' is a display of children's books and beautiful illustrations. 'Treasures from the Ground, Early Mining in Eurobodalla' - discoveries and the miners involved. Wednesday/Friday/Saturday, 10am - 12pm, 85 Campbell Street.

Bay Heritage Museum

Until February 4: At Peace - Symbolism and Ritual. Reflects on the curious, the significant and the ceremonial aspects of our 'last great adventure', 1850-2020.

Groove is in the park

Thursday, February 25: Nethercote Hall on the edge of the Ben Boyd National Park. Friday, February 26: Navigate Arts at the Old Church in Tanja. Saturday, February 27: Gadflys get toes tapping with double bass, drums and vocals from 9pm at Quarterdeck, Narooma.

South Coast golf regional qualifying series

Saturday, February 27: At the Moruya Golf Club, 18-hole individual stableford and team event shot gun start at 8.30am; lunch, raffles and presentation. Over $1500 in amateur prizes. Book: 4474 2300.

Shoalhaven Eisteddfod

May or June, 2021: The 37th Eisteddfod will take place in May-June. The Eisteddfod committee will decide at the end of January as to whether the event will go ahead. If so there will be several new sections in vocal and dance: pop or country; song from stage, screen or TV show; contemporary song; junior contemporary championship; hip hop.
