Sydney-based academy, Juventus, is hosting a two-day school holiday clinic at Bill Smyth Memorial Oval on Wednesday and Thursday, January 20-21.

Coaching manager Andrea Mere said the Juventus team was excited to share their Italian football tips and tricks with boys and girls aged 7-14.

"It's a good opportunity for the area, where coaches from Italy and ex-professional players will offer the same training as teams in Italy - which could be a little different," Mere said.

last year, Mere holidayed at Narooma just as the bushfire emergency began.

"We visited just after Christmas and spent New Years with no electricity," he said.

"We couldn't enjoy Narooma then."

In love with the area, Mere said he was keen to return, and this time bring some football fun to the community.

He said Juventus director Terry Leckie often visits his Narooma home, and if the clinic was successful, it could run again in the future.

"Even if the numbers aren't that big, we are so happy to run the clinics and have some fun with the kids," Mere said.

During the two-day clinic, coaches will run through different aspects of the game including; touch and control of the ball, passing, receiving and shooting skills, dribbling, tactical movement and team formation, coordination and body balance, team spirit and more.

The cost of the clinic is $160. Book online at www.trybooking.com. For more information visit academy.juventus.com.
