Narooma Kianga Dalmeny Garden Club
The planned trip to Merribee Gardens at Numbaa and Sanctuary Point Garden Centre had to be cancelled, as the Gardens were closed due to the extreme rainfall events at the time. Hopefully this excursion can be rescheduled for later in the year. Guest speaker at our April 14th meeting will be Sonya from the Bodalla Nursery. Bring along your best fruit and/or vegetables to show for plant of the month. In May we will once again support the Cancer Council and the Moruya Hospital at our pink afternoon. Club Narooma will provide scones for afternoon tea at a cost of $5 per serve. Names and money for order of the scones will be taken at our April Meeting. Moruya to Sydney flights bounce back
Passenger flight frequency from and to Moruya Airport has returned to pre-COVID numbers. The Eurobodalla Shire Council's commercial services manager, Andrew Greenway, said Regional Express flights had been reduced over the past 13 months but were now back to three flights each way from Sydney and Moruya: "It's important for locals to support the service to ensure we keep this heightened frequency going."
