Narooma Lions' young Aussie Rules talent join GIANTS Academy

Narooma's emerging Aussie Rules stars have returned from their first game of the GIANTS Academy at Nowra.

Five Narooma Lions AFL Junior Boys in both the Under 13's and 14's attended recent trials and were selected to join the 2021 South Coast GIANTS Academy Development Program.

Under 13's players selected: Frank Frisken and Keanu Craig. Under 14's players selected were: Will Tiffen, Jed Ware and Freddie Frisken.

They all travelled to Nowra Showgrounds on Wednesday, April 14, for their induction and first development game.

The GIANTS Academy discovers and nurtures young talent, developing them into elite athletes across NSW and ACT.

The academy offers players individual skill development programs, to mould and better the AFL talent pathway within the club's zones.

The Narooma Lions Aussie Rules Club was excited for the boys and proud to see them follow their dreams.
