* A 48-year-old woman with a number of chronic conditions was given the AstraZeneca vaccine three to four days before she became unwell.

* The Therapeutic Goods Administration says it has not yet been established whether there is a link between the vaccine and her death.

* There have been 1,420,577 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Thursday, including 61,272 in the past 24 hours.

* Of the total, 793,937 have been administered by the Commonwealth (an increase of 45,965 in the past 24 hours).

* 629,289 have been doled out in primary care (+40,009), and 164,648 in aged and disability facilities (+5956).

* 626,640 have been administered by the states and territories, including 15,307 in the past 24 hours.

* 169,284 have been administered in NSW (+4429), 158,498 in Victoria (+2570), 120,458 in Queensland (+2695), 74,046 in Western Australia (+1783), 44,150 in South Australia (+1549), 28,047 in Tasmania (+1319), 19,813 in the ACT (+577), and 12,344 in the NT (+385).

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Australia reported no locally-acquired virus cases on Friday. There were at least 14 overseas-acquired cases in quarantine: seven in NSW, five in Queensland, and one each in SA and WA.

* The national death toll is 910: Victoria 820, NSW 56, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3 (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 139,120,305.

* Deaths: at least 2,986,951.
