Narooma and District Lions have had a busy month starting with their end of summer Sunday barbecue at East's Caravan Park during Easter holidays.
"It was a clement evening so barbecuing was a happy event as the number of holidaymakers queued up for our magnificent hamburgers, rolls and sausages," Lions spokesperson Ricci Bishop said.
"One regular visitor revealed that patrons were happy to see things get back to normal, and part of this was Lions being at Easts barbecuing again."
The following Sunday was the Narooma Lions regular Dalmeny Community Market, and once again they experienced an increase in stallholders and patrons.
On Anzac Day Lion Ricci Bishop and her husband Steve Bishop a King Island Lion represented the club at the Dawn Service and Lions president Tony Fahey represented them in the Anzac Day march and laying a wreath in remembrance of all who gave their lives in the service of our nation later that day.
The Narooma Lions dinner meeting on Tuesday, April 27 members was attended by special guest former president Margaret Latimer who was presented with a floral tribute and Lions inducted two new members - Helen Azar and Daymien Cook.
"Another candidate is to be inducted at our dinner meeting at the end of May and we are always on the look-out for service-minded people who would like to join our busy and progressive club," Ms Bishop said.
