Golf has been a popular way to do that, but many courses around the state have either closed completely or opened only to members.

Here's where you may be able to get in 18 holes around the Eurobodalla Shire.

Club Catalina

Club Catalina's clubhouse will be closed for the duration of the lockdown, but the course remains open for members only.

A club spokesperson said groups were limited to two per tee time unless all players are from the same residence, and bookings must be made through the MiClub app.

There will also be a one-person restriction on golf carts, unless both people are from the same residence.

"This is a difficult time as we once again navigate our way through another lockdown," the spokesperson said.

"We thank our members for your ongoing support during this time."

Moruya Golf Club

Moruya Golf Club is accepting both members and visitors throughout the lockdown, provided all restrictions are adhered to.

"The Golf Course will remain open for play as it is a form of exercise, both physically and mentally," a club spokesperson said.

"If you would like to book in for golf, please use your members MiClub login or contact the Proshop.

"This is a difficult time for all, so let's work together to stay safe."

Moruya's restrictions are like Club Catalina's but will also minimize contact with flags and rakes.

Narooma Golf Club

Narooma Golf Club will close for the lockdown, but the course and pro shop will remain open to members only.

A club spokesperson said the club's AGM had also been cancelled due to the lockdown.

"The golf course and pro shop will remain open for normal hours for members only," they said.

"Golf can be played in a group of two persons only for social golf and competitions during this week.

"The AGM scheduled for August 15 was postponed and a new date will be advised once known.

"Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all again soon."

Crackajack Golf

The nine-hole par 3 golf course at Tomakin will remain open during lockdown, but players must adhere to strict conditions.

The driving range and putt-putt course at the same venue will be closed.

A spokesman for Crackajack Golf said players must be from the Eurobodalla Shire and bring ID with their home address as proof before they tee off.

"You must book prior to arriving, and you will be turned away if you have not done this," he said.

Groups will be at a maximum of two players regardless of living conditions and will play at 15-minute intervals.

Players must not touch any flags and must wear a mask from the car to the first tee and from the ninth green back to the car.

Crackajack has also banned players from sharing sets of clubs or hanging around the clubhouse or carpark.

"Whilst the majority will have no problems with these special conditions, experience from the last lockdown showed there are some who feel they are exempt from the extras," the spokesman said.

"Actions such as those will not be tolerated.

"If you are not prepared to conform to these conditions, then do not come to play - we must remember golf in these times is an absolute privilege."

Tuross Head Country Club

The Tuross Head Country Club has cancelled all golf competitions this week, but social golf remains open with the same restrictions as all other golf courses.

Tuross Head will accept visitors provided they are not from any parts of Sydney or the ACT.

"Social golf has not been cancelled, it's limited to two people per group," a club spokeswoman said.

"Any more than two would have to be from the same family."
