MACS spokesperson Rosy Williams said there had been many local artists that had been members at one time or another over the past 40 years and MACS is asking artists to share their past journeys in art and craft.
Ms Williams is asking artists to send their MACS memories along with a photo to macsartnarooma@gmail.com
MACS artist, Anne-Maree Kape joined MACS after moving to the area in 2010 and developed her jewellery craft among her new friends.
Ms Williams said that Ms Kape had written to MACS congratulating them on their 40th anniversary.
"I am sure that, like me, there are many 'new arrivals' to the Narooma area who have benefited greatly by participating in classes, events and workshops conducted by MACS and from the friendships that have developed and grown as a result," Ms Kape wrote.
"Other artists such as Tony Pye and Adrianne Waterman have shared their memories and these will be displayed on the MACS website as we grow our retrospective gallery," Ms Williams said.
Check out MACS on-line until the Glasshouse Rocks Road Studio can re-open with work groups.
