They helped rescue an injured hiker at Pigeon House Mountain before attending a car crash on the Princes Highway the same evening.
Just before 3pm, Bawley Point RFS spokesman said volunteers assisted NSW Fire and Rescue and NSW Ambulance with an injured hiker at a walking track near Yadboro.
"The hiker was successfully extracted by stretcher from the walking track and delivered to a clear landing site for transfer to hospital by medical evacuation chopper," the spokesman said.
At about 7.48pm, Bawley Point RFS rushed to the scene of a car crash, Princes Highway near Termeil, where a person was reported trapped.
"The brigade arrived to find that fortunately, no one was trapped in the vehicle and thankfully they appeared unhurt," the spokesman said.
"The brigade's volunteer first responders then set to securing the site for the safe arrival of the tow truck and Police."
The spokesman said it was reassuring to know members had retained skills since the brigade has been unable to get together for training over the past seven months.
"Emergency response training is undertaken to prepare brigade volunteers for emergency situations such as these to ensure that all of our members understand what to do, when and how to act when these emergencies arise," he said.
All up another great combined team effort, with more no doubt to come.
