Thursday, October 7: A field of 140 players found the course a little more testing than of late and A Grade was taken out with 38 points by Andrew Voormeulen off his handicap of 13 with Mitch Jeffery and Hal Fraser in the minor positions on 37 and 36 points respectively.

In B Grade, Stuart Long came out on top with 39 points off his handicap of 20 while Ross Giblett edged out Terry O'Callaghan on countback on 38 points to finish runner-up.
C Grade saw the best score of the day where Robert Brown posted 42 points off his handicap of 28 with Chris Fondum and Tony Hunt in the minor positions on 39 and 38 points respectively.
The nearest-the-pin winners were Mark Bartop on 3, Andrew Thompson on 9, Gary Schmidt on 14 and Stuart Long on 17 while the ball competition went down into the 32 points range as far as Shaun Martyn on countback.
Saturday, October 9: An excellent field of 176 players turned out for the final Monthly Medal of the season with 143 playing in the stroke event and 33 in the associated stableford competition.
Jason Andrew won A Grade with a par round to post 69 net of his handicap of 3, one less than Graeme Sawyer on 70. A four-way countback on 71 fell in favour of Rod Fletcher with Brendon Warby, Chris Ritchie and Bill Hannam missing out.
An unprecedented series of low scores was registered in B Grade where Ben Smith won the grade and the Monthly Medal with 63 net off his handicap of 14, a score which translates to 45 stableford points. Colin O'Sullivan and Kevin Mitchell filled the minor positions with net 64 and 65 respectively.
Andrew Barry was a clear winner in C Grade with 64 net off his handicap of 28 while Grahame Cooke finished runner-up after heading Geoff Broadfoot on net 69 on countback.
The scores were also good in the stableford event where Don Waterfield posted 42 points off his handicap of 33 to finish two points ahead of Jock Munro and Julie Whyte on 40 points. The nearest-the-pin winners were Chris Ritchie on 3, Ian Miller on 9, Ron McDonald on 14 and David Holt on 17.
The ball comp went down as far as 74 net on a countback in the stroke event and to 35 points in the stableford. RGI.
