The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) reported one new COVID-19 case in the Eurobodalla Shire on Thursday, located in Batemans Bay.

It is linked to a known case and brings the total number of active cases in the shire to 24.
There was one other case recorded in the district in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region.
This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 391 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
The SNSWLHD announced new COVID-19 venues of concern in Bega.
Anyone who visited one of these venues at the times listed is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
Tuesday, October 5, 8.30am to 9am: Bega Caltex, 100 Gipps Street
Thursday, October 7, 3pm to 3.45pm: Bega Coles, Parker Street and Carp Street

Everyone in the district should stay alert for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19, including headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever.
