A spokesperson from the NSW Electoral Commission said votes had until 6pm this evening to either register or change their details on the electoral roll, or voluntarily 'opt-in' to vote if their enrolled address is outside the Eurobodalla Shire.
"You can certainly vote in two different elections if you own property, are a leasee, or a ratepayer in an LGA," the spokesperson said.
"Votes have their enrolled address where it is compulsory for them to vote, and can voluntarily opt to vote in other LGAs by contacting the local council where you own property."
However, the spokesperson said people with an enrolled address in other states, including the ACT, are not eligible to vote in the Eurobodalla elections.
"You have to be an enrolled resident of NSW to be eligible to vote in any election in NSW," they said.
"Residents with an enrolled address in the ACT will not be able to vote in any NSW local government election."
The spokesperson said now was the time to either update your details or contact Eurobodalla Shire Council to vote.
"Today is the cutoff, 6pm is the close of the electoral roll," they said.
"If you don't update before then, you'll be voting wherever your last enrolled address was.
