Known as KI to the locals, Kangaroo Island is Australia’s third largest island stretching over 540 kilometres of remarkable coastline.

A South Australian icon, it is home to a range of environments – from the arid desert to the mountains and pristine beaches. It also boasts a variety of wildlife in the wilderness.

The island is also rich in history and its first official settlement was started in July 1836. Sealers, runaway sailors and escaped convicts were attracted to this island not long after.
