P&O’s Pacific Encounter made a not-so-subtle entrance into Sydneys Harbour this week and paid homage to the little tugs and maritime heroes of the seas as she arrived.

With the words “Hero Tugs” emblazoned across the top deck big screen, the ship arrived at Circular Quay on 2 August.

It’s the second P&O Cruises ship to start sailing again in Australia.

But don’t get too cosy with her stay in Sydney as she is destined to soon head up the coast to her new home port of Brisbane.

Before she heads north however, Sydney’s local producers are bound to benefit with more than half a million kilograms of locally sourced produce being loaded onto the Pacific Encounter for her future passengers to enjoy.
