Nedd's Record Run: Brockmann's finish line in sight with $1.3 million raised

He's continued his epic effort through injury, headwinds, rain and sunshine.

ACM caught up with Mr Brockmann in Wagga Wagga in NSW's Riverina last week, after a day which saw him run more than two marathons.

Mr Brockmann took a hard earned, albeit brief, rest in the city after running from Narrandera to Wagga in one day, the latest in a long line of inhuman feats.

He ran into the city about 6.30pm to the cheers of dozens of local well wishers, grabbed a few hugs, a chocolate milk and was off again - he'd actually only ran 94kms to be exact and wanted to hit the full 100.

Waiting for him at the 94km mark were his emotional parents, Ian and Kylie Brockmann.

Ian said his son's decision to undertake this gargantuan run is typical of his determined nature.

"He's one of them kids that if he says it, he'll just do it, and we just had to realise we had to follow him," he said.

Students at Nedd's primary school at Bedgerabong in NSW's Central West, inspired by his journey, donned their running gear and raised $770 towards We Are Mobilise.

"Nedd - we can't tell you how proud we are that you are one of us," the school posted to their social media.

"You've inspired a whole community of kids! Keep doing great things!"

Nedd is expected to arrive at Bondi Beach on Monday afternoon, October 17, with livestream from about 5.15pm on his Instagram.
