Traditionally, a "world cruise" would last two or three months and skip a couple of continents; however, some cruise lines have been creeping closer to an accurate definition, spending a year (or more) sailing to hundreds of ports. Departing Sydney on June 4, the Princess Cruises ship returns September 26, just in time for the start of the 2025/26 summer season.
