On Saturday, December 14, the culmination of a great year of aquarobics classes was marked with tasty food by the Bay Pavilions Cafe and entertainment from the group's volunteers.
There were also presentations for instructors.

Regular classes at Bay Pavilions include aquarobics, deep water aqua and aqua mobility. These classes have been running for two and a half years, with attendance numbers growing steadily, and new classes added to the program to cope with increasing demand.
Group member Kerry Griffiths said the aqua program at Bay Pavilions was "a huge asset" to the community, supporting the mental and physical wellbeing of a diverse range of people of all ages.
"These classes have brought people together and created a sense of community and inclusiveness, where other activities might struggle to achieve this," Kerry said.
"The staff at the Pavilions are friendly, welcoming and encouraging. The dedication and delivery of classes is first class, with instructors reporting that by the end of their teaching week, they will have had at least 100 participants in their classes."
