Emergency services were called to the trendy snack food store, the Munch Spot, on Princes Highway in Dandenong, Melbourne at 3.55am on February 18.
The store was set alight after a stolen grey Hyundai Tucson was used to crash into the shop front, police allege.
Investigators believe the car was stolen during an aggravated burglary in Cranbourne East around 1.20am the day prior.
But it's another car, a red or maroon Ford G6E FG series sedan, that police were interested in.
The alleged arsonists were seen travelling east on Princes Highway in the Ford as they left the scene, police said.

Investigators are appealing for public information to find the alleged getaway car.
No arrests have been made and investigations remain ongoing.
The Munch Spot in Dandenong is "closed until further notice", store owners said.
The attack comes after another acai outlet, the Acai World Truck, was allegedly targeted in a firebombing in Merrylands, Sydney in the early hours of February 9.
"Detectives currently do not believe the ram raid is linked to other incidents," police said.
Anyone with information, vision or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
