A teenager has been arrested more than a year after he was allegedly involved in a "deliberate" hit and run that killed one of his peers and injured two others.

Police were interviewing the 18-year-old Sydenham man on February 27 over a crash in Taylors Lakes, in Melbourne's outer northwest suburbs, on November 6, 2023.

A group of teens were crossing Chichester Drive in Taylors Lakes at 6.55pm when they were allegedly struck by a stolen car in a "targeted" hit and run.
The car hit three teenagers, killing a 16-year-old Keilor Downs boy and injuring a 16-year-old Melton boy and a 15-year-old Keilor Downs boy.
The driver allegedly fled the scene in the stolen car.
Paramedics attempted to revive the 16-year-old but he died at the scene.
The wounded teens were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police allege the suspect and victims knew each other.
The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
