At 5.35pm on Sunday, September 28, police received reports that a dual-cab ute was driving dangerously.
The ute was seen near Kisses Lagoon on Carp Street and was travelling out of Bega towards the Princes Highway.
NSW Police Chief Inspector Shane Jessep said by the time two police cars had switched on their lights and tried to catch up to the vehicle, it was gone.
Chief Inspector Jessep told the Bega District News that police were investigating a number of traffic offences allegedly committed by the driver of the ute.
"Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone that may have dashcam footage," Chief Inspector Jessep said.
Anyone with information or footage is urged to contact Bega Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
