Police are searching for a driver who ditched his vehicle and vanished into farmland following a series of collisions on the NSW Far South Coast.
About 8.15am on Monday, March 23, while conducting inquiries into an overnight break and enter at Corkhill Place, Bega, officers observed a man loading construction materials into a vehicle-drawn trailer.
Police alleged that when officers approached the man he drove away.
A short time later, police saw the car and trailer on Boundary Road turn onto Tathra Road.
Police said the driver failed to stop as directed and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued through to Clarkes Road, where it was terminated due to "safety concerns".

Shortly afterwards, the car was seen on Greendale Road before turning onto the Princes Highway, where it reportedly hit two cars and caused minor damage.
The car came to a stop after colliding with a third car.
The 68-year-old man driving that vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to South East Regional Hospital in Bega for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle being pursued was last seen running into nearby farmland.
Police said inquiries were continuing.
