SATURDAY'S par event was won by Mike Walsh with a plus 3 score beating Paul Pereira on a countback. Steve Walker was placed third also recording a card of plus 3. Col Houghton and Frank Pomfret filled the minor placing’s both returning scores of plus 2.

The team event held in conjunction with the individual competition was won by Steve Walker, Bruce Lidbury, Mat Ganderon and Ian Lawson with a score of 17.
Nearest the pins were awarded to A grade player Dave Gray on the 4th with 1.35m. Bruce Lidbury won the 6th with 0.75 m.
B grade went to Greg Smith on the 4th with 2.45 m. Steve Johnston the 6th with 5.17 m and Mat Ganderton won the 7th with 10.0m.
Sean Bamborough was the best on the 4th with 3.69 for C grade and he also took out the 6th with 5.90m.
The annual eclectic competition starts again in the New Year and players need to register if they wish to enter. Fee is $5.
Ken Brown won this year’s event with Kevin Dukes runner up.
The nine hole competition was won by Tim Starr with 17 points ahead of Peter Garn 16.
