A fishing boat attempted Narooma bar cross at around 7.30am on Saturday morning making it through, just!
Other boats including charters waited only half or hour so more until conditions and the tide improved.
Charters and other fishing boats were also forced to wait for conditions to improve on Sunday and Monday.
The Westpac Lifesaver 3 rescue helicopter on Sunday in conjunction with the Narooma Surf Life Saving Club conducted a rescue exercise that drew a crowd of spectators.

Lightning on Saturday meanwhile also played havoc with reports of damage to electronic appliances at Bodalla while a tree at Box Cutting Road just north of Narooma was smashed into 1000 pieces, some flying 50m.
The wet and wild weather is set to continue with rain and unsettled weather forecast for the rest of week.
