Around 30 stalls inside the Narooma Sport and Leisure Centre and more than 20 outside are expected for Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7.
South Coast Hunting Club president Dan Field said there had been lots of positive feedback on plans for this year’s festival from both people planning to attend and locals and local businesses.
Stallholders were coming from around Australia and as far away as South Africa with African Cape Safaris having a stall again.
This year’s event has also attracted sponsorship from the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia SSAA.
There will be firearms license testing and R license testing done by the Department of Primary Industries game licensing division.
Shooters this year will be able to test their aim on an air rifle range, while the popular bow target shooting organised by the Eurobodalla Archery Club will be back.
In addition to the availability of guns and ammunition to purchase from licensed firearms dealers and the mobile air-rifle range, the event will include stalls and activities featuring hunting and equipment, four-wheel driving, camping, clothing, bikes and quad bikes, bow hunting, field cooking equipment, meat processing and preserving equipment, field dressing, cooked and fresh food vendors and other outdoor exhibits.
There will also be demonstrations in skinning and processing the meat from game animals.
