Members who are available please remember the White Ribbon Walk against Violence on Friday 9.30 am from the golf club. Christmas is coming fast and the executive will meet on December 1 with the monthly meeting on December 4 at 1pm. The choir/drama group are giving concerts at Estia Health and IRT residences, December 1 and 8 at 2pm. Members’ Christmas lunch will be held at Lynch’s on Friday December 11 at 12.30pm where the Hamper raffle will be drawn. Any inquiries ring Joanne King 4476 7461.
Bodalla Car Boot Sale
The Bodalla RFS Brigade will conduct a Car Boot Sale on Sunday, November 30 from 8am to 1pm at the Bodalla RFS station with tea, coffee and a sausage sizzle.
Bermagui and District Seniors’ Social Club
Members of the Bermagui and District Seniors’ Social Club enjoyed a coach trip to Candelo last Wednesday, visiting the Candelo Hotel for lunch and calling in to Bega Cheese for an afternoon “treat”. Thank you to all concerned, including Symons coach driver. Our final event for the year is the Christmas get-together at the Bermagui Country Club on December 2. Montague 50s & Over
You are running out of time to put your name on the list for the Christmas Party on Thursday, December 10. We have lots of lucky door prizes and of course the big Christmas Hampers. Not too late to bring donations for the hampers on Tuesday or Friday Canasta afternoons. Janice will be happy to accept items before the end of November. Narooma Community Garden
COME and enjoy the season’s fruit and veg. garden on Sunday mornings 10am-12.30pm. Share friendship, fresh air, exercise and learn new gardening skills with us. We are located in the north-west corner of Narooma Primary School. Contact: Carolyn Wells 4476 2475.
Free variety concert
A free variety concert will be held at Bermagui Country Club on Sunday, November 29 with music to suit over 50's from 1pm to 5pm with great entertainers giving their time for free. Afternoon tea, raffle and 2 lucky door prizes. Ph 64935909 for info.
Montague Art & Craft Society
MACS members thank the Boat’s Afloat Event for their sponsorship of the Art Exhibition held in Tim Short’s boatshed. Dorothy Noble took out the Boat’s Afloat Art Prize. Coming up for MACS is a December-long exhibition of members’ art and craft at SoART Gallery, beside the Kinema. Public viewing times are 10am to 4pm each day starting Dec 1.
