
Narooma High School agriculture students travelled to Nimmitabel Show on Saturday, and had a very successful day.
Competing were Sammy Bate, Yolande Thompson, Lucy Sheridan Gimmel, Tailem Brown, Scott Negus, Grace Gowing, Rita Carr, Luka Potts, Emily Bate, Aisha Thomas, Sarah Alderton and Geena Thomas.
The cattle did very well with one of the heifers awarded reserve champion cow. Students competed in the junior judging with Scott Negus placing first Geena Thomas second, Tailem Brown third, Rita Carr fourth and Highly recommended Emily Bate.
Students also competed in the junior paraders with Tailem Brown first, Yolande Thompson second, Sarah Alderton third, Scott Negus fourth, Sammy Bate fifth and Luka Potts sixth.
These students have now qualified to compete at Sydney Royal Easter Show. The students head to the Cobargo Show this Sunday. Read more about the show in this week’s Narooma News!
