On Friday, April 7, the Narooma High School Under 15 AFL team played their first match of the CHS Swan Shield at Bill Smyth Oval.
Narooma won the match comprehensively 94 to 3 with an extremely dominant defensive display.
Stand out players for this match included: Tom Hodge; Rocco Lagana; Ruben Colom-Davis; Ryan Holdsworth; Jack Westoll; Rory Spurgeon; Harris Bromwich; Ethan Anderson; Mitchell Swadling and the very skilful Bryon Lonsdale-Patten.
The following players also contributed well to the team performance: Reece Rudneski; Jake Puglisi; Mathew Parker; Patrick Sly; Dyland Steward; Campbell Moresi; Jack Harris; Patrick Stewart and Kurtis Carlson.
“I would also like to acknowledge the hard work of Liam Russell our Director of Strategy, Tactics and High Performance,” said HT PDHPE teacher Dion Cafe. “I wish the team well for round three.”
Under 15 CHS AFL South Coast Tuna Trials
On Friday, April 28, Narooma High School had six players trial for the South Coast Under 15 boys AFL team. Rory Spurgeon; Tom Hodge; Ryan Holdsworth; Harrison Bromwich and Matthew Parker were all selected in the 22-man squad. Kurtis Carlson was selected as a shadow reserve. Congratulations to all players.
