The August surf competition for the Dalmeny Boardriders will be held this Sunday, August 6.
Surfers can sign themselves up for their heats prior to Sunday at www.liveheats.com/DalmenyBoardrider
Heats will be finalised and available online by Saturday night, however these are subject to change on the day, so please be at Kianga Beach on Sunday for the 7.30am briefing, with the first heat in the water at 8am.
If the weather is assessed and the competition is cancelled or held elsewhere, club members will be advised via facebook and email.
The barbeque will be firing and the coffee van will be ready and serving when you arrive for the briefing. Please remember to bring your re-usable coffee cups to help reduce waste.
Winter is the season for good clean swells and spectators were treated to a great display of quality waves and surfing last month. Here's hoping that this weekend provides the same!
Competition days are proving to be a great day out for the Boardriders community; come and have a look, volunteer to judge (no experience necessary), or just enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Everyone is welcome and new members - competing or social, are able to join on the day.
