Last week the Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers had two interesting bushwalks in different parts of our coastal bush.
Bunga Head is north of Aragunnu Beach in the Mimosa Rocks National Park, and on Thursday August 17 they had a 4km walk around the area.
The trees sheltered them from the cooling breeze, and made the walk very enjoyable.
Steve Deck and Jan Smith showed them the different features of Bunga Head and provided a good balance of beach and bush.
On Saturday 19 August they explored 8km around the Dalmeny bush.
The bush walking trails behind Dalmeny are a joy to walk through, with many old, wrinkled and tall spotted gum trees providing beautiful scenery.
Jan Thomas showed them some trails that they had not used before, and found a beautiful area to have lunch.
