Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions this week on the Princes Highway at Narooma Bridge for essential maintenance work to be carried out.
Work will involve inspecting and repairing lift machinery to ensure the bridge can open and close to marine traffic effectively and motorists experience no delays during the opening and closing operation.
To minimise the impact to motorists, work will be carried out from Monday, September 25 to Wednesday, September 27 between 9pm and 5am, weather permitting.
During work hours, a number of bridge lifts will be carried out to complete inspections and repairs. Motorists are advised to allow up to 15 minutes of additional travel time.
Traffic control will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out. For the latest traffic updates call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW app.
