The hosts for the weekend were Russell and Sharon Buckman, who have a wide knowledge of the area and are well known to club members from previous visits to Delegate.
The weather was kind with fine days, but the nights were freezing.
On the Saturday the group visited the Holy Transfiguration Russian Orthodox Monastery and the Burnima Homestead in the Bombala area. Both were very interesting and provided some great photographic opportunities.
On the Sunday, the group crossed into Victoria and into the Errinundra rainforest, which was home to a wonderful display of mosses, ferns, huge trees and waratahs as well as leeches.
Thanks go to Russell and Sharon for being great hosts.
Wednesday, November 15 saw the club hold its monthly competition. The set subject was “minimalist” and the judge for the evening was Ivan Finlay who is a club member and who carries out judging for the NSW Federation of Camera Clubs.
