
Bikes stolen – Sometime between 10pm on Friday, November 24 and 7am on Saturday, November 25, two electric bicycles were stolen from the Dalmeny campground. This is a timely reminder for all people in caravan parks and holiday homes to be mindful to secure belongings and put valuables away, especially at night.
Intoxicated customer – An intoxicated man attempted to purchase alcohol at a Narooma bottle shop at 5.20pm on November 12. The 62-year-old local man was refused service and asked to leave the store. But he returned on two occasions within 15 minutes, allegedly using offensive language and harassing staff. Police investigated and reviewed CCTV footage and subsequently issued the man with a fail to quit licenced premises ticket that carries a $550 fine.
Egg throwing – Unknown persons threw eggs against walls and windows at the Narooma Golf Club building between midnight and 5am on Wednesday, November 22. Police are reviewing CCTV footage and anyone with information can contact them on 4476 2044 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. The incident is considered to be malicious damage and if found, the perpetrators could face serious criminal charges.
Supermarket shoplifter – A 45-year-old Narooma woman was issued with a summons for stealing after she allegedly attempted to leave the Narooma Woolworths with a trolley full of groceries without paying at 1.50pm on Wednesday, November 22.
Steel panels stolen – 15 portable steel panels were reported stolen from a property on Murrah Street, Bermagui sometime between Sunday, November 19 and Saturday, November 25.
