Bermagui Field and Game’s Christmas shoot was a fun filled spectacular, with more than 70 shooters participating on a jolly course set out by Santa and his helpers.
However, the biggest winner was the local primary school, with all money raised on the day going to them.
New shooters, families and the die-hard Bermagui and Cooma club members supported the Santa-sponsored day.
Everyone was out to bust the clays for a chance at winning a Christmas ham, or various other delectable prizes.
Dave Bedingfield and Pat Tennant were in the shoot off for first place in C grade, but Pat stole first by one clay target. It seemed shoot offs were on the cards for most grades, as C grade also had Jarrod Ringland and Leon Karrington vying it out for third and fourth.
The ladies all shot well, with Carol Cook heading up the round with 67 and then another shoot off for second and third between Michelle Craig and Jan Redman, with Jan taking second.
Young gun Josef Gschwend won the Digweed Challenge, fighting it out against his dad Mark, Phil Craig, and Oscar Mower at the 70-metre mark.
Nearly all shooters participated in the challenge, many of them buying back in at a cost of $5, in the hope of being crowned the winner.
However, the biggest winner was the local primary school, with all money raised on the day going to them.
