Golfers celebrate a fantastic year

The event was meant to be held after a day on the course, but Saturday’s wild weather meant that play was abandoned for the day.

In spite of this, 80 members were at the club house to celebrate the winners of all the major awards.

Men’s, Women’s, and Junior awards were handed out on the night by Peter Jones, Geoff Lanham, Chris Fader and Jan Boxsell.

Jason Andrews was named the Men’s Champion, while Sylvia Donohoe took out the Ladies Champion award.

The Junior Champion award was given to Hayden Lang, while Peter Kearney won the coveted Club Member of the Year award.
