A NSW Health spokesman said a woman was not taken to Moruya District Emergency department, but was instead taken to Moruya Airport to be transferred to The Canberra Hospital.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed the woman remained in a stable condition and was being treated for a suspected fractured arm.
1.47pm: NSW Ambulance says a woman has been taken to Moruya District Hospital after a rhinoceros gored her at Mogo Zoo.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were called just after 1pm to reports of a 47-year-old female who had been gored by a rhino in the arm.
She was treated for a suspected fractured arm and is expected to be flown to The Canberra Hospital.
She was understood to be in a stable condition.
