She’s Got Bling took out the Whacker’s Photos and Framing Class 2 Showcase Handicap, with fellow Moruya-based horse Ethanicity (Wade Mathie) finishing second.
They beat out a field of six horses after the late scratching of Griddlebone.
It marks the first local victory at the racetrack, following a Sydney and Canberra victory in races one and two respectively.
Race one, the 920m Mr Bold Catering Class 1 Showcase Handicap, saw a field of eight horses, including Moruya based horse Kalooki.
Garry Neale trained Oriental Runner took out the race, with the Luke Pepper trained Bank of Erin in second, and Terry Robinson’s Our Rosemaree in third.
Race two saw two late scratchings, with both El Venetian and Moruya-based Tipta Tantivy failing to start.
Matthew Dale trained Goldmine took out the 1650m Canberra Women in Racing Class 3 Showcase Handicap, ahead of Barbara Joseph’s Silky Mover and Brian Adams’ Admission.
