Little Sellers is open to people aged between five and 18 years and is held every year to celebrate the region’s young artistic talent.
It is held as a companion to the biennial Basil Sellers Art Prize, with great prizes on offer.
Eurobodalla Shire Council’s creative arts coordinator, Indi Carmichael, said the prize was in its third year and continued to get bigger and better.
“Last year we had 200 entries across the four age categories, which is an amazing effort and a testament to our creative community,” Ms Carmichael said.
“This year’s theme is ‘My Dream’ and we’re encouraging the artists to interpret it in a way that is meaningful to them. We can’t wait to see what they come up with.”
Six finalists from each category will have their work framed and exhibited in Eurobodalla Shire libraries in October. The exhibition opening and announcement of the winners will be held in September.
Entries are now open and close Friday, June 29. Entry forms are available online here and at local libraries and schools.
