Narooma CWA members also won two group categories – where the work represents the efforts of more than one individual – at the CWA event at Bermagui. These will also be entered at the state competition at Armidale in April, representing the Far South Coast Group as a whole. Expectations are high that many state prizes will follow.

Dive into games of Yahtzee, Scrabble, Uno – it’s a chance to play all those games that need more than one player; Solitaire can get solitary after all. It’s a dose of fun and laughter, with good company followed by an afternoon tea. Entry is $5.
If you can’t make the games afternoon, be sure to head to the Easter garage Sale, from 8am to 2pm, on Saturday, March 31.
There will be home-made goodies and sausage sandwiches to eat.
Thumb through the book, rummage through a range of pre-loved items including clothes and bric-a-brac, or pick up a new plant for the garden. Be sure to guess the number of Easter Eggs in the jar.
Goods for the sale can be donated by dropping them in to the CWA on Friday morning, 10am-12pm, or Tuesday afternoon, 1pm to 3.30pm.
Or contact Joanne King 4476-7461 to arrange pick-up/drop off.
