It was a good turnout with more than 20 people who came along and saw the monthly competition night produce several high standard entries.
The set subject for the night was “Triangular” and some of our members in division A came up with some very interesting shapes.
There was a very high participation from the A Grade section therefore there were two Gold and two Silver awards.
Our B Grade entrants also showed some very interesting shapes but due to participation in B Grade being low this month there were only Gold and Silver in Set subject awarded and a Gold awarded in the Open subject.
Big thanks to Geri Taylor for her excellent points of view in the judging and for her talk afterwards on layering effects of photos in print.
Our next category for our April meeting is: A River Somewhere.
Anything from a sleepy pastoral scene to a rushing torrent. As long as a river figures prominently in the photograph that’s fine.
