Busking champions the Narooma Rhythm Hunters inspired the Rotary Club of Narooma’s Busking Committee to create separate categories for schools to enter and win fantastic prizes in 2018.
Schools with more than 200 students are eligible to compete in the Large Schools category. There must be at least three students in the school group and there can be as many groups from the same school as the school chooses to enter. The winning group from a large school will win $500, second prize will win $200 and third prize will win $100.
Schools with less than 200 students are eligible to compete in the Small Schools category. Again, there must be at least three students in the school group and there can be as many groups from the same school as the school chooses to enter. The winning group from a small school will win $500 and second prize will win $100.
In 2018, Narooma Busking Championship are introducing the People’s Choice School Group category and the winner of this will receive $500. Second prize will win $200 and third prize winners will receive $100.
