NO STOPPING THEM: Some of the junior Lions action from the weekend.

The Narooma Lions two junior sides have both come away with victories on a successful day at Bill Smyth Oval.

The under-12s put together a team effort for a great win. In spite of wet conditions, the team dominated the centre square right from the first bounce.

The team used short hand passes to control the game whenever Tathra threatened to mount an attack.

There was no way through for the Sea Eagles, with Tathra only managing one goal and one behind for the entire game. Up front, Hudson kicked five goals, and set up two more. Frank kicked three goals.

Narooma 10.7 (67) def. Tathra 1.1 (7)

The under-16s put on an excellent display of courage and skill against a talented Tathra team in challenging weather conditions. The boys worked well as a team, and their determination enabled them to come away with a fantastic win to go to the top of the ladder.

Narooma 5.8 (38) def. Tathra 4.9 (33)
