GOOD CONTEST: Moruya team Alison Spurgeon (sub), Bev Pavlou, Ange Brooks, Carol Harris and Lorraine Price.

After the rain last week players in ETLC were pleased to have perfect weather on Thursday for their matches.

Moruya's division 2 team of Ange Brooks, Bev Pavlou, Lorraine Price and substitute Alison Spurgeon traveled to Batemans Bay to play against Bay Breeze.

Moruya won the day 7-1 but the result certainly didn't reflect how closely matched both teams were and all enjoyed the friendly battle. A delicious lunch provided by the Bay players was enjoyed by all.

Seven clubs have entered a total of 18 teams in three divisions: Batemans Bay, Tomakin, Broulee, Moruya, Tuross, Dalmeny and Narooma. The club is looking for new players to join the competition in any of the grades. Contact your local club for information.
