There were plenty of images for judge Kim Armstrong, from Bega, to go through.
Mr Armstrong studied a Diploma of Digital Photography and has been involved in photographing events such as air shows, truck shows and weddings for many years. He enjoys all aspects of photography.
He complimented members on the quality of the competition entries and gave some really valuable hints on how photos could be improved or enhanced.
After judging/critiquing the night’s images, he gave a talk about the NIK Collection, which is a software plugin for Lightroom, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, showing examples of what the software can do and how to use it.
Members got spoiled again with home-baked yummies in the break.
After the break, Beth gave a demonstration of our revamped website, which includes a Forum facility.
Members Dave Kemp and Beth Westra displayed some of their images. Mr Kemp showed some of the images he had been taking at Willinga Park’s Gold Buckle Campdraft and the Braidwood Rodeo.
He spoke about how he had taken the photos and when the best time was to get the best images of Rodeo-type events.
Ms Westra displayed some before and after shots and showed how they could be improved in Photoshop.
