Studio spokeswoman Suzanne Dainer said the “quirky little nook” was made by the Narooma Mens Shed and decorated by the studio’s Thursday painting group.
‘We already have some fascinating books available; we encourage everyone to bring a book and swap for another,” Ms Dainer said. She said there had also been interest in starting a studio book club.
The book-nook is located by the School of Arts Studio noticeboard. Ms Daniner said, “people might also like to check out some of the great workshops coming up.” These include Rae Luckie’s Creative Life Writing and Marg Ingamelis’ A Lump of Clay workshops, or regular Saturday Life Drawing sessions.
