Musical Afternoon

Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2: Arts in the Valley at Kangaroo Valley Hall. The event will feature will feature Australian soprano Lorina Gore for an afternoon of music and song as well as a distinguished quartet drawn largely from Sydney Symphony Orchestra players.

Saturday Creative Sessions 

Second Saturday of every month until December, 2021: Local artists have teamed up with the Bas to share their skills with the community at hands-on creative workshops.

8 May: Papermaking and embedding nature finds with Mandy Hillson

12 June: Bead threading with Virginia Aland

10 July: Art of wire with Andrea Warren

14 August: Twined basketry with Ruby Berry

11 September: Upcycling books with steampunk with Carmel Cox

Aussie Talent

The latest edition to the Australian festival circuit, Next Exit will hit Mackay Park in Batemans Bay on Friday, 28 May.

Ocean Alley, Spacey Jane, Dear Seattle, Merci,Mercy and CLEWS are the popular musos expected to draw local visitors as well as people from Sydney and Canberra.
