Sunday, July 28: Moruya & District Brass Band present music from the 1996 Movie "Brassed Off" plus other classics. With The Southern Stompers and the Dixieland Jazz Ensemble. Moruya Golf Club from 12.30pm - 3.30pm. Admission $10.

Quota movie night

Thursday, August 8:Film, Palm Beach, starring Sam Neill, will raise funds for disaster relief shelter box. Complimentary drinks and nibbles at 6.30 pm. Starts 7 pm. Bookings at Narooma Kinema on 4476 2352. Tickets are $20.

Quota Trivia Night

Friday, August 16: Quota's next trivia night is coming up at Club Narooma. Funds raised will support the Narooma School of Arts Studios. To book a table contact Sue Sansom 0407503999 or email sueoos@bigpond.com. Teams can comprise up to eight people at each table. Doors open at 7pm and games begin at 7.30. Entry fee is $10.

Wrap with Love 

Friday, August 16: From 11am at Narooma Library. Since 1992, over 441,000 wraps have been sent via aid agencies to people in need throughout the world. This not-for-profit group began in Sydney 26 years ago and is now Australia-wide with groups and individuals knitting madly away in the suburbs of cities and in regional towns like Batemans Bay and Narooma.

The Benevolent Society

Tuesday August 20: The Benevolent Society will be hosting a special get-together for residents of the Eurobodalla affected by adoption. An opportunity to find out one's rights to access information, searching for family members, or having a reunion. The event is free but bookings are required. At the Batemans Bay Community Centre. Workshops, exhibitions and weekly studio activity groups at 24 Glasshouse Rocks Road, Narooma. Activity groups on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Morning and afternoon sessions.

Clay Play with kiln on Wednesday mornings, plus mosaic group, plus afternoon painting and drawing. Monday, Creative Thread activities and Friday, Life Drawing.
