Narooma police are reminding both locals and visitors to report any missing or stolen items to police to aid in their return.

Sergeant Brendan O’Mahoney said missing items are extremely common around the holiday season.
“We encourage people that if they do lose or have items stolen, to report the matter to Narooma, Bermagui, or Cobargo Police,” he said. “Alternatively, you can contact the police assistance line on 131 444.
“Police are often inundated with numerous items at this time of year, and we’re unable to locate owners for many of those items.”
If you find an item of value that appears to be missing, please hand the item in to a police station.
Missing tablet
On Saturday, January 12, a computer tablet was reported as lost in the Dalmeny Area.
Narooma Police ask that if anyone has possession of the item, or knows of the item’s whereabouts, to bring it to Narooma police station so it can be returned to its owner.
Tent found on road
At 8am on Monday, January 14, a tent was located on Centenary Drive, North Narooma. The tent appears to have fallen from a vehicle rather than being abandoned by the owner.
If you think you own the tent, please contact Narooma police to identify it.
iPhone found on beach
On Saturday, January 12, an iPhone was handed in to Narooma Police Station.
The phone was reportedly found at Narooma Bar Beach. If you own the phone, please contact Narooma police to identify it.
Storage box stolen
Sometime between 5pm and 6pm on Friday, January 4, unknown persons stole a heavy-duty storage box from a campground in Dalmeny.

Phone pinched
Between 5pm and 7pm on Sunday, January 6, a mobile phone was taken from a car at Narooma Beach.
The vehicle was unlocked at the time the alleged theft occurred.

Unruly behaviour
At 4.30pm on Saturday, January 12, a 25-year-old Narooma male was stopped on the Princes Highway.
As a result of the interaction between the man and police, the driver was issued with a criminal infringement notice for offensive language, and not obeying directions of an authorised officer.
Mid-range drink driving
At 2.20 am on Tuesday, January 1, a 36-year-old Victorian man blew a mid-range reading of 0.131 during a random breath test.
The man was bailed to appear at Narooma Local Court.
